The Moore County Law Enforcement Officers Association announces receiving a 501(c) (3) status as a “Public Charity” from the Internal Revenue Service. The Moore County Law Enforcement Officers Association is a not for profit organization located in Moore County, North Carolina, whose membership consists of over 200 active and retired law enforcement officers and civilian law enforcement support staff.
The mission of the Moore County Law Enforcement Officers Association is to promote social, charitable and educational activities for our membership, while providing for the wellbeing of our members and their families. It is additionally our goal to instill a spirit of benevolence, good will, integrity, and mutual respect between our members and the citizens of the communities we all proudly serve.
Chief Bob Temme (Southern Pines) who is the President of the Moore County Law Enforcement Officers Association offered the following statement:
“While the Moore County Law Enforcement Association has been in existence since 1980, providing services to Moore County law enforcement officers and the community, we now have the opportunity to further expand the great work done by all members of the association both past and present.”
