$125,000 secure bond for second suspect charged in identity theft case.
The Hoke County Sheriff Office; Sheriff Hubert A. Peterkin announces on March 10, 2018, at approximately 12:06 PM Hoke County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle at 9882 Fayetteville Road.
Documents were collected from the vehicle and the suspects for further investigation. It was discovered that the documents contained personal identifiable information for eleven victims, which had been used to open fraudulent accounts.
Charges were filed against two people and one suspect turned himself to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office on March 19, 2018.
The remaining suspect remained at large however turned himself to Law Enforcement on March 23, 2018 and was processed at the Hoke County Detention Center.
