One suspect in custody under $75,000 secure bond second suspect still at-large
The Hoke County Sheriff Office; Sheriff Hubert A. Peterkin announces on March 10, 2018, at approximately 12:06 PM Hoke County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle at 9882 Fayetteville Road. During this stop documents were collected from the vehicle and the suspects for further investigation.
During the investigation that followed it was discovered that the documents contained personal identifiable information for eleven victims, which had been used to open fraudulent accounts.
Felony charges were filed and one suspect turned himself to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office on March 19, 2018. The second suspect is still at large.

Suspect #2 is still at large and is being sought by law enforcement
