Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the drug arrest of Timothy W. Hussey following a traffic stop in the Carthage area of Moore County.
On December 21, 2017 deputies stopped a 2003 Toyota Camry near the Carthage area of Moore County operated by Timothy W. Hussey. Following a consent-search of his vehicle, deputies found and seized: 32 dosage units of Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), seven grams of Methamphetamine, four grams of Marijuana, two Oxycodone prescription pills, a firearm and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Hussey was charged with: Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I (LSD) controlled-substance, Felony Possession of a Schedule I (LSD) controlled-substance, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II (Methamphetamine) controlled-substance, Felony Possession of a Schedule II (Methamphetamine) controlled-substance, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Storage of a controlled-substance, Simple Possession of a Schedule II (Oxycodone) controlled-substance, Simple Possession of a Schedule VI (Marijuana) controlled-substance and the Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Hussey was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000.00 secured bond and given a January 9, 2018 District Court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
