An arrest has been made in the theft of 12 disc golf targets from the Ponderosa Golf Course in Cameron that occurred between August 27th and 28th of this year.
On Friday December 9th 24 year old Zachary Nathaniel Poling of a Bumpy Lane address in Sanford was taken into custody for two felony charges related to the theft.
The stolen equipment, valued at over $3500, was recovered on October 31st just a few miles away from where it was stolen according to a source familiar with the investigation.
Poling is being held in the Harnett County Jail on $10,000 secured bond while awaiting a January 2, 2018 court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
