Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of two individuals for drug violations following the execution of a search warrant in the Aberdeen area of Moore County.
On October 26, 2017 the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Aberdeen Police Department executed a search warrant of 106 Central Drive, Aberdeen, North Carolina. During the search of the residence, deputies seized: 14 grams of cocaine, 10 dosage units of Oxycodone, a Schedule II controlled-substance, one gram of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, a .45 caliber handgun and $800.00 in US currency.
Arrested were:
Jason Marcus McLean, 26 years of age, with a Poplar Street address in Aberdeen.
McLean was charged with: possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II (Oxycodone) controlled-substance, the felony maintaining of a dwelling for the storage of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of up to half an ounce of marijuana, simple possession of a schedule II (Oxycodone) controlled-substance and the possession of drug paraphernalia.
McLean was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond and given a November 28, 2017 District Court date.
Kajah Monikk-Elizabeth Gaddy, 38 years of age, with a Central Drive address in Aberdeen.
Gaddy was charged with simple possession of a schedule II (Oxycodone) controlled-substance.
Gaddy was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond and also given a November 28, 2017 District Court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
