Moore County Sheriff Neil Godfrey received blankets from Sandhills/Moore County Project Linus. Blankets will be placed in each patrol vehicle and made available to citizens in need.
Project Linus is a non-profit organization that provides homemade blankets to children in need. Blankets are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life.
“I am grateful to Joan and Project Linus” said Sheriff Neil Godfrey. “Project Linus allows us to make blankets available to those in hardship. More often than not, we in law enforcement respond to difficult challenging circumstances. While it may just be a blanket, the gesture of providing someone in need something soft and warm cannot be discounted. We at the Moore County Sheriff’s Office are very appreciative of Joan and Project Linus.”
