A Laurinburg man was arrested by the Pinehurst Police Department on weapons and traffic related charges Saturday.
Michael Raekwon Ryner, age 21, from a Fairfield Drive address in Laurinburg was charged with resisting a public officer, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, giving fictitious/false information to an officer, speeding, and driving while license revoked.
Ryner was transported to the Moore County Detention Center in Carthage where he was held under a $31,000 total secured bond. $30,000 for the possession of a firearm by a felon charge and $1,000 for the speeding charge.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
