Sharon Rae Fielden Taylor, 69 of Southern Pines, passed away on April 4, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

She was born on November 23, 1949 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Swan Russell and Elizabeth Emily Fielden.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Taylor.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Taylor; brother, Russell Fielden (Deborah); grandchildren, Dylan Beamer (Sarah) and Lily Gunter; great grandson, Everton Beamer; two nieces, Alice Kiser and Jane Fielden; also survived by other family and friends.

Sharon’s artistic talents were incredible and ranged from oil paints, watercolors, acrylics, customized upholstering dollhouse furniture, and decorating people’s homes for Christmas. She also participated in decorating Christmas trees for the annual Festival of Trees event for several years.

Her gift for seeing the true beauty in life and her family will live on forever.
Sharon taught the people in her life that someone is always looking over us. Her loving light was as contagious as her laughter.
