TURKEY & BLACK BEAN CHILI

1 pound ground turkey
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1/4 cup chopped green chiles
(from a can or jar)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 Tblsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
2 cans petite cut tomatoes
3 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
2 cans black beans, drained

Brown ground turkey with onion, celery, carrot, chiles and garlic approximately 6 minutes. Add chili powder, cumin and salt: cook and stir together over medium heat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and black beans.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until flavors have blended.
